T-Systems has structured its security policy, requirements and recommendations hierarchically. At the top, the T-Systems Executive Board sets the course. It draws up the principles of T-Systems security policy and strategy. At all subsequent levels the security principles by which certain groups of employees are expected to abide are described and executed in increasing detail. The highest degree of detail applies to the security requirements for day-to-day operation at the systems and applications level.
